We were founded in 1979 on a Leicester market stall by Bill and Jean Adderley and are now a major British-based home furnishing retailer with over 110 stores throughout the United Kingdom, plus a transactional webstore ? www.dunelm-mill.com. We continue to show strong growth with turnover now in excess of £500m. Even though we are a member of the FTSE 250, we remain true to our market stall roots and to our Simply Value For Money proposition ? an industry-leading choice of good quality homeware products at great prices, with deep availability and supported by friendly service.

Promotion and development

Dunelm Mill has its own in-house development programme called Dunelm Directions and also works with a number of external providers to deliver training programmes that provide nationally recognised qualifications. We also work in partnership with the National Skills Academy which holds numerous skills shops throughout the UK that provide us with support and our colleagues with externally accredited retail apprenticeships which help us develop our managers of the future.
